PRINCIPAL STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS ENGINEER (SACS)  - PERMANENT – SURREY

 

Our Client, an offshore oil and gas contractor, is currently looking for an experienced Principal Structural Analysis Engineer (SACS) to join the team in London working on the design of Offshore Wind Foundations.

 

You will be joining a global leader in engineering, procurement, construction, and installation services for the energy industry. With a strong track record of successful projects and a commitment to excellence, Our Client strives to deliver innovative solutions to their clients.

 

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • B.Eng, M.Eng, M.Sc in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Candidates must have experience in offshore wind or offshore installations.
  • Relevant offshore energy industry experience with a proven track record of delivering high quality Structural Engineering.
  • Will need to have experience in detailed design.
  • Ability to apply engineering principals to solve challenging problems and to work effectively within a small team.
  • Good command of written and verbal English.
  • Must be conversant with using SACS.
  • Fully conversant with MS Excel and hand calculations.

 

JOB SCOPE

Will be working in the offshore wind engineering team on structural analysis.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • To perform structural analysis in accordance with Client’s current requirements and the latest Industry Codes and Standards including statutory rules and regulations (DNV GL, API, AISC, EC and Norsok).
  • To Review/comment and approve Structural drawings for steel structures based upon Engineering Design. To Prepare high quality Design Reports and to maintain records in accordance with Department Operating Procedures
  • To ensure that all activities are carried out in a manner consistent with Client’s policy on health, safety, quality, and environmental matters in accordance with Client specific procedures.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:        Either full time in the office orHybrid Working - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home

 

SALARY:                                 Please quote what salary you would be looking for.

 

DURATION:                             Start ASAP.
