ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR(MINOR WORKS) – LINCOLNSHIRE – PERMANENT
Our Client, a construction company who covers new build, refurbishments and maintenance with specialists in the area of education, medical, retail, food and housing sectors, are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyorto be based in Lincolnshire.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Control and manage all subcontract and direct departmental costs using cost analysis software packages
Raise orders in accordance with contract documents and Lindum Procedures
Quantify and price maintenance works based upon agreed schedules of rates, for various property maintenance clients
Provide accurate monthly cost reports
Collate KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) in order to measure trends.
Identify opportunities and promote commercial awareness
Knowledge of construction contracts and/or experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
This opportunity is for Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Client’s Minor Works and Building Maintenance Services division based at their office in Lincolnshire. You will have the opportunity to develop a commercial awareness of the construction industry, and you must have the ability to manage your own time and meet demanding deadlines.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
This position is full-time. Salary will be commensurate with experience, skill level and qualifications. Benefits include Group Personal Pension, profit related pay, employee share scheme and opportunities for further training, development and progression.
