CONTRACTS ADVISER - MANAGEMENT OF KEY SUBCONTRACTS – CONTRACT – SURREY

 

Our Client, a Major international Oil and Gas, design and construction contractor is seeking a Contracts Adviser - Management of Key Subcontracts to work in their offices in Surrey on a contract basis.

 

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Proactive and experienced Contracts Adviser
  • Should have experience in management subcontracts within the Oil and Gas industry
  • Should have experience of scope and responsibilities below.

 

JOB SCOPE:

  • The Contracts Adviser will manage all key subcontract activities including subcontract drafting, negotiation, contract changes and the implementation and ongoing performance against defined targets of performance, cost and delivery.
  • The Contract Adviser shall be assisting the Project Contracts Adviser and Project Manager to develop and maintain key subcontracts, critical to ensuring the successful on budget and time delivery of a major EPCI project.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the performance and direction of all key subcontracts commercial and administration work including:
  • Support the Project Contracts Adviser in managing the day to day key subcontracts activities in the project and reporting functionally to the Head of Contracts.
  • Assist the planning, placement and administration of all key subcontracts, is performed efficiently, effectively and in accordance with corporate policies and procedures, timelines and adhoc needs from the Project. 
  • Manage and report on all key subcontract activities in support of bids/projects through the lifecycle.
  • Communicate with all engineering disciplines, in order to clearly quantify, qualify and describe the work to be performed by the key subcontractors.
  • To manage and report on all subcontract activities in support of bids/projects through the lifecycle.
  • Provide support to Contract Management Function on as need basis.

 

 

 

Rate:               Negotiable, depending on experience. Please quote what Limited Company hourly rate you would be looking for when applying.

 

Benefits:         Very Close to the Station.
