LEAD COMMISSIONING ENGINEER– CONTRACT – SURREY

 

Our Client is urgently seeking a Lead Commissioning Engineerto work with their team to support both Pre-FEED and FEED projects.  

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate shall have relevant site experience executing pre-commissioning and commissioning works in an EPC environment in either a PMC or Contractor Role in Gas Processing, Gas Handling, LNG projects and be proficient in all areas relating to pre-commissioning and commissioning execution in the field.

The ideal candidate shall be able to demonstrate involvement in the following areas of Commissioning Engineer.

Pre-FEED/FEED Phases

  • Working in a collaborative environment with Client Project teams
  • Participate in design reviews (P&ID, SIL, and Hazard reviews)
  • Participate in plot plans and model reviews
  • Participate in project schedule development
  • Preparation of preliminary plans and procedures (operations, maintenance, and commissioning)
  • Preparation of various operating philosophies (e.g. operating, black start, commissioning.)
  • Preparation of preliminary system definitions
  • Preparation of training plans
  • Participate in SIMOPs and HAZOP Reviews
  • Preparation of other commissioning deliverables as defined in the ITB
  • Preparation of an EPC estimate and preliminary EPC execution plan

 

JOB SCOPE

  • The role is for a Commissioning Lead Engineer to support both Pre-FEED and FEED Projects in the Client’s London regional office in Surrey.
  • Working in a collaborative environment with Client Project teams
  • Participate in design reviews (P&ID, SIL, and Hazard reviews)
  • Participate in plot plans and model reviews
  • Participate in project schedule development
  • Preparation of preliminary plans and procedures (operations, maintenance, and commissioning)
  • Preparation of various operating philosophies (e.g. operating, black start, commissioning.)
  • Preparation of preliminary system definitions
  • Preparation of training plans
  • Participate in SIMOPs and HAZOP Reviews
  • Preparation of other commissioning deliverables as defined in the ITB
  • Preparation of an EPC estimate and preliminary EPC execution plan
  • Part of their duties will be to coordinate with Clients’ Commissioning & Operations Representatives to ensure full alignment and understanding of the commissioning and operations requirements for their respective Projects.

 

DURATION:                  c8 months +

 

RATE:                          £60 per hour Ltd Company rate

                                   The role is Likely to be outside of IR35 but the final decision will only be made after a QDOS assessment.
