Our Client, a Major international Oil and Gas, design and construction contractor is seeking a Learning and Talent Development Advisor to work in their Surrey offices.



To contribute to organisational development through the implementation and evaluation of learning and development initiatives that meet business needs, drive culture change, and are aligned to the company vision and strategy, and by providing support to talent identification, development, utilisation and retention programmes and initiatives that help build, secure and ensure Client people capability.



Learning and Development

·         Work with managers to identify and gather annual training needs

·         Support managers in creating department training plans

·         Arrange, manage and administrate all aspects of on-site learning interventions

·         Book external courses when required

·         Maintain training records and general training administration

·         Source, on board, monitor and evaluate external training providers

·         Evaluate learning interventions (using Kirkpatrick model as a basis)

·         Prepare and co-ordinate the annual Performance Review process, outputs and analysis

·         Coach managers to implement best-practice Performance Management and Development

·         Projects: Examples; Create Managers’ Guides, Implement Clients Leadership Model


Talent Management

·         Co-ordinate the graduate programme(s) including induction, general training, performance review process and ongoing progress monitoring of individual graduates

·         Maintain and monitor the graduate mentoring programme to ensure business benefit

·         Form relationships with universities to promote future Client graduate schemes

·         Support the Senior L&D Adviser with development planning for identified talent

·         Maintain talent development records and succession planning administration as required

·         Projects: Example; Be the L&D adviser to specific talent programmes as may be determined



·         Pull together annual training budget requirements and administrate agreed budget throughout the year


SALARY:                   Negotiable. Please the salary you would be looking for.


BENEFITS:               Very Close to the Station.
