OFFSHORE PROJECT PIPELINE ENGINEER - CONTRACT – SURREY

 

Our client, an advanced technological and engineering platform specializing in the design, construction, and operation of safe and sustainable complex infrastructure and plants, is seeking an experienced Offshore Project Pipeline Engineer for an exciting new project based in the North East of England.

 

This is primarily an office-based role, requiring a minimum of three days a week in the office, but candidates must be prepared to visit the site as needed.

 

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Candidates must have experience in landfall operations for rigid pipeline installation.
  • Proven ability to manage landfall subcontractors.
  • Experience in mobilizing landfall operations.
  • Familiarity with shore-pull and wire-lay activities.

JOB SCOPE

Mission:

Reporting to the Project Operations Manager the successful candidate will ensure that all landfall preparations meet requirements of the project and support the operations execution. You will need to ensure efficient, safe and timely execution of third party activities with respect to the project schedule. Interface with client and ensure client requirements are maintained.

 

Tasks to be Carried Out:

Report to a Project Operations Manager on the project.

  • Co-ordinate mobilisation, engineering and operational activities and ensure deliverables are produced in line with project HSE and installation requirements. Coordination shall ensure efficient and timely execution of activities with respect to the installation campaign schedule.
  • Take responsibility for the scope of work. Responsibility includes up to and including final issue of the relevant documents, including drawings for the scope of work.
  • Manage the performance of the subcontracted work scope.
  • Participate to the risk management process to ensure operational risks are to the ALARP principle.
  • Ensure the onsite and offshore operations are performed according to the agreed procedures.

 

RATE:                          Please quote what limited company hourly rate you would be looking for.

 

DURATION:                   Start ASAP.

 

WORK PATTERN:         Hybrid working of 3 days in the office and 2 days working at home.
