OFFSHORE RIGGERS – FIXED TERM CONTRACT – OFFSHORE
Our Client, a Major international Oil and Gas, design and construction contractor is seeking Offshore Riggers to join their team to work Offshore on a semi-submersible heavy lift vessel.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

Candidates need a valid offshore survival and a valid OGUK

Basic Offshore Safety Induction And Emergency Training (Bosiet) including HUET and CA-EBS

Rigger competence stage 3 OPITO (alternative to Client Lifting Team member)

Candidates MUST have experience in either heavy lift vessels or very large fabrication projects of large steel structures ieriggers who have worked in shipyards and were involved in heavy lifting of jackets, topsides, etc.

Ifcertifiedtodoso,carriesouttheconstructionofscaffoldingstructuresinaccordancewiththeinstructiongivenbythe supervisor

Ifcertifiedtodoso,drivesthefork-lift

FollowsdailyinstructionsgivenbytheDeckForemanorRiggingForeman

Ensuresriggingworksarecarriedoutaccordingtotheapplicableriggingstandardsandbestpractices

Verifiesthatthe equipmentand materialsareingoodand safe operatingconditionsandreports anyanomaliestotheDeck/RiggingForeman.

Ensurescoordinationwiththeadjacentworkstominimizecoactivityandavoidsunsafeconditions

FollowsthePermit-to-Workprocedure

Ensuresthehousekeepingoftheworklocation

During offshore or marine-related activities, assists the marine department during mooringoperationsasrequired

ReportstotheRiggingForemanortheDeckForeman
RATE: £320 per worked day working on a fixed term contract direct with Client.
Rotation: 28 days on 28 days off
