Our Client, a Major international Oil and Gas, design and construction contractor is seeking a Procurement SAP Supervisor to work in their offices in Surrey on a Permanent basis.


This is a great opportunity with one of the largest turnkey E & C Companies within the Oil and Gas industry. Our Client is also a leader in the supply of engineering, procurement and construction services with distinctive capabilities in the design and execution of large-scale offshore projects.



  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, including Maths and English
  • Computer literate (Previous experience with SAP)
  • Supervisory experience within a role as a technical SAP Buyer.
  • 5 years’ minimum in a similar role.



  • Provide day to day control of the SAP Function, ensuring members are competent and provide good levels of service.
  • Raise Purchase Requests for materials needed for projects (Logistics requirements) and the Operations Logistics Department.
  • To raise Work Orders and Delivery Orders through SAP.
  • Provide training and guidance to others in the use of SAP so they are able to raise PR/WO/DO and service entries
  • To become familiar with and to maintain awareness of the Company’s current requirements and where applicable, the latest Industry Codes and Standards including statutory rules and regulations.
  • To ensure that all activities are carried out in manner consistent with Company policy on health, safety, quality and environmental matters in accordance with Company specific procedures.
  • To ensure his / her own safety and that of others is not compromised or placed at risk.
  • Work with the Senior Logistics coordinator and Logistics Manager to review future projects and anticipated staff levels
  • Manage the team mailbox ensuring requests are dealt with promptly providing a good level of service
  • Ensure that the Query Log relating to Logistics is kept up to date and that invoices are processed in a timely manner
  • Monitor the use of Frame Agreements and provide feedback where agreements are due to expire or may run out of funds
  • Become familiar with HMRC rules and the import and export of goods and ensure any procedures or controls are in place and are compliant


SALARY:         £35,000 - £37,000 per annum.
