PROJECT QUALITY ENGINEER - CONTRACT - SURREY
Our Client, an advanced technological and engineering platform for the design, construction and operation of safe and sustainable complex infrastructure and plants contractor, is, is currently looking for a Project Quality Engineer to join the team based in Surrey in January 2025.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Candidates must have experience working as a Project Quality Engineer within the oil and gas industry.

Expertise in developing, implementing, and maintaining Project Quality Management Systems (PQMS) aligned with company QMS.

Proficiency in planning, conducting, and reporting quality audits for internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors.

Experience managing non-conformities, corrective actions, and the cost of non-quality processes.

Strong project coordination skills to align quality activities with overall project objectives.

Ability to prepare and review quality plans, procedures, and contractual quality requirements.

Effective communication skills for reporting, client interactions, and conducting quality training sessions.
-
Familiarity with tools for lessons learned, continuous improvement, and quality data analysis.

Knowledge of customer satisfaction processes and ensuring compliance with quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
JOB SCOPE
Tasks
-
Provide the necessary back-up to the Project Quality Manager (PQM) regarding quality contractual issues both during tender and project execution phase
-
Ensure the definition and implementation of the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) and the identification, preparation and distribution of needed Project Quality Plans and procedures in accordance with the Company Quality Management System (QMS)

Ensure that the correct implementation of the PQMS is checked and monitored through the planning of quality audits

Ensure, within the project organization, the planning of activities aimed at promoting the applicable Contractual Quality

Support the Project Quality Manager in the planning and implementation of the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) activities within the project

Plan and implement the Quality Assurance activities within the project

When the Project Quality Manager is not defined, coordinate the project Quality activities implementation
Requirements

Participates in Project Management meetings, to ensure coordination between Quality activities and Project Management activities

Ensure the issue of quality requirements to be incorporated, in the contractual documents, with Vendors and Subcontractors and organizations in charge of works

Ensure that the integrity of the Company QMS is maintained when changes are made to the system for the project

Ensure the correct implementation of planned quality audits, taking in account all project processes, including the issue of relevant audit reports

Conduct external audit to Vendors and Subcontractors QMS

Ensure management of nonconformities
-
Promote appropriate actions, including quality investigation, to prevent or eliminate potential non-conformities and their causes
-
Ensure the management of Cost of Non-Quality process
-
Ensure knowledge and awareness of Quality requirements within the Project Team, also performing Quality Training activities
-
Collect and analyse project quality data also to organize and lead the Project Quality Management Review

Ensure the management of lessons learned process through the Reflex tool
-
Ensure Customer satisfaction process implementation

Report Project information and data to Company's Quality Manager by means of corporate methodologies and tools
RATE: Please quote what limited company hourly rate you would be looking for.
DURATION: Starting between January and March 2025 Ongoing contract
WORK PATTERN: Hybrid working of 3 days in the office and 2 days working at home.
