PROPERTY MANAGER – PERMANENT  – OXFORD

 

 

Our Client is a national estate agency franchise with branches all over the UK. They are currently seeking a Property manager for their Oxford office.

 

 

EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Knowledge of the Housing Acts, Lettings legislation and other regulatory bodies.
  • Managing property portfolios in order to maximize and retain clients
  • Dealing with renewal of tenancies and accompanying negotiations.
  • Dealing with the client with courtesy and professionalism
  • Providing considerate property advice
  • Data inputting in order to guarantee the continuity of filing systems

 

 

JOB SCOPE:

  • Ensuring that inventories are prepared and there is a valid gas safety certificate prior to let
  • Handling all landlords correspondence post let as well as chasing overdue rental payments and securing renewal fees from both landlords and tenants.
  • Tracking progress of maintenance issues by completing management notes.
  • Working together with front of office staff to ensure a smooth check in/out process.
  • Notify utility companies of all changes of occupants.
  • Negotiating with contractors in order to arrange quotes for any work to be carried out and monitoring progress of all maintenance issues to ensure all works have been satisfactory completed and approving invoices received by the accounts department.
  • Handling complaints from landlords and tenants specifically related to managed proprieties.
  • Handling any overflow business (eg. call handling, viewings, booking appointments.)
  • Arrange repairs in order of priority in accordance with our client’s terms of business.
  • Perform all management visits including booking appointments for visits, follow ups to both landlords and tenants and forwarding reports.
  • Informing your line manager of any ideas which may improve performance and efficiency.
  • From time to time perform duties outside of this job description reasonably requested of you.

 

 

 

Salary:  £ 24,500 + commission per annum
