Essential Skills

Experience in a target driven/sales environment
A degree in an energy-related/business subject
Knowledge of an additional European language
Job Scope:
As a junior business executive, you will be responsible for sourcing and engaging new leads, with a view to securing client meetings and obtaining letters of authority (these letters give our Client authority to speak with energy providers on behalf of others). At first, you won't be required to close business as you'll still be learning about the complexities of the markets and the nature of the sector. However, once you gain that fundamental energy knowledge base, you'll be able to hold higher level conversations with prospects, allowing to quickly move up the ranks and to begin managing the entire sales cycle from start to finish.
To make sure you succeed in your new role, you will be assigned a buddy who is responsible for coaching and guiding you, ensuring that you have the skills to move up the career ladder. Training is our Client’s lifeblood as a business and so they incentivise their senior employees to help mentor and develop new hires.
Duties Will Include But Are Not Limited To:
Setting, meeting and exceeding targets and KPIs
Generating sales leads by using LinkedIn and online research
Cold calling leads with the view to converting them into prospects and moving them through the  
  sales cycle
Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
Providing the sales director with weekly progress reports
Accurately and punctually updating the CRM system to maintain and manage your leads
Attending the weekly sales meeting to update the team on your progress and share best practice
Learning our business, industry and marketplace, gaining a fundamental understanding of contract types, energy markets, suppliers, products and pricing

£18,000 - £20,000 PA

As is usual with sales the position has an excellent commission structure. Full details will be provided to candidates. This is a great career opportunity and, as you can see, the Company will give good training to help you reach your potential.

Working Hours:
This is a full time position, Monday to Friday 9.00 to 17.30 with 1 hour lunch (37.5 hours a week)
