SENIOR MECHANICAL (HV/AC) BUILDING SERVICES DESIGN ENGINEER - PERMANENT - MANCHESTER
Our Client, a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy who has offices throughout the UK, is seeking a Senior Mechanical HV/AC Building Services Design Engineer to join their Birmingham office. Must have considerable experience in the design of heating, ventilating, air conditioning systems and all the experience as described in the job specification under ‘experience’.
· HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent certified Mechanical Engineer.
· Be an experienced design engineer or come from a contracting background.
· Strong communication, analysis, technical design and drawing skills.
· Be a self-motivated team player with good people skills.
· A comprehensive knowledge of current building regulations including gas & water regulations.
· A sound knowledge of renewables including solar, heat pumps (air, ground & water).
· A sound knowledge of combined heat and power systems.

Their solutions are tailored to the client – with simplicity of design often key, but with the ability to deliver bespoke highly technical solutions as well.
Working across all sectors, including commercial, industrial, manufacturing, logistics, heritage, retail, leisure and residential for end user clients, investors, developers, architects, and project managers or engineer-led project teams. This diversity of work streams and the fact all team members work across every sector means they are constantly crossing over ideas.
Salary: £30,000 to £38,000 pa depending on your experience, with large company benefits including 25 days holiday and a variety of optional flexible benefits.
