SENIOR PRODUCT LEAD – PERMANENT – SURREY

 

Our Client, a Major international Oil and Gas, design and construction contractor is seeking a Senior Product Lead to join their team in Surrey.

 

This is a great opportunity with one of the largest turnkey engineering & construction Companies within the Oil and Gas industry. Our Client is also a leader in the supply of engineering, procurement and construction services with distinctive capabilities in the design and execution of large-scale offshore projects.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Candidates will need to have experience in FEED and Conceptual stages of projects.
  • Must have previous experience within the Oil and Gas industry in a similar role.
  • Must have experience in marketing trends and technology trends together with budget planning.
  • Must have experience of dealing with bids and tenders and commercial contracts.

 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To support the Product-line’s objectives by actively assisting the product organisation to;

-         Reach revenues and profitability objectives

-         Define competitive positioning and market trends for the product-line

-         Define objectives and targets

-         Prepare budget planning

-         Identify technology trends and innovative fields of application

-         Promote a culture of continuous improvement

-         Identify commercial and technical areas for improvement for the product-line and across the division’s activities

-         Identify and evaluate partnerships capable of increasing the Company’s competitive position

  • Contribute to;

-         Market screening to identify projects of potential interest to the product-line

-         The definition of partnering strategies

-         The definition of pre-bid agreements (if any)

-         The definition of bidding strategies

-         The definition of fundamental choices for projects, proposing the most appropriate and competitive managerial and executive solutions

-         Negotiations with clients to reach agreement on pricing, commercial, contractual and technical aspects of proposals and in the formalization of contracts

-         Analysis of tender documents

-         Preparation of contractual guarantees and liabilities

-         Definition of detail project execution strategies

-         Risk evaluation and risk management activities

  • Participate in;

-         The commercial activities (promotion, pre-qualification and bidding) and assure a uniform approach and consistent guidance across initiatives

  • Lead the;

-         Efficient operational management of the product-line’s commercial activities

-         Application of technological/technical know-how, innovation and in-house experience to support the commercial promotion of the product-line

 

SALARY:                      Negotiable. Please quote the Salary you would be looking for this position.

 

BENEFITS:                  Very Close to the Station and some parking available.
