SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER - CONTRACT - SURREY
Our Client, an offshore oil and gas contractor, is currently looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join the team on an exciting Offshore Wind project.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Candidates must be degree qualified and ideally chartered or working towards chartered status.

Relevant offshore energy industry experience with a proven track record of delivering high quality Structural Engineering.

Strong communication skills.
JOB SCOPE
-
To Perform and be Responsible for structural analysis tasks by means of modelling in company standard structural analysis software (Primarily in SACS as well as in STAAD and GT-STRUDL).

To perform detailed design calculations in accordance with Our Client’s current requirements and the latest Industry Codes and Standards including statutory rules and regulations (DNV GL, API, AISC, EC and Norsok).

To Review/comment and approve Structural drawings for steel structures based upon Engineering Design. To Prepare high quality Design Reports and to maintain records in accordance with Department Operating Procedures

To ensure that all activities are carried out in a manner consistent with Our Client’s policy on health, safety, quality and environmental matters in accordance with Our Client specific procedures.
RATE: Please quote what limited company hourly rate you would be looking for.
DURATION: Start ASAP.
WORK PATTERN: Hybrid working of 3 days in the office and 2 days working at home.
