Our Client, a family run, independent landlord and lettings company based in South Manchester dealing mostly with student lets, are looking for a Maintenance/Lettings Administrator to join their team.



  • Good time-management
  • Be proficient with Technology - computers/phone. We have a management software that we use so this is a must ie Knowledge of Microsoft office, including Excel and knowledge of CFP Software, this is preferred.
  • Adaptable and willingness to learn
  • Have experience within the lettings industry and preferably some experience in the field of student lettings ie 1-2 years.
  • Good customer services skills
  • Can pick up pieces of information that are disseminated quickly
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office, including Excel.
  • Knowledge of CFP Software, this is preferred. Property software knowledge is essential.
  • Valid driving licence.



Our Client has their own portfolio. They are looking for a Maintenance/Letting Administrator to help manage to join their team. As a specialist in student accommodation there are various skills and legal aspects of the industry that will need to be picked up very quickly. You will be working to ensure properties are let for the student academic year.   This is a great opportunity to growth within a small business and generate a substantial amount of business. 


Duties include:

  • Being responsible for the day-to-day Marketing i.e. keeping adverts current and updated (Client’s own website,  Rightmove, CFP software, Manchester Student Homes, pad for students etc) .
  • Managing Lead Enquiries (phoning applicants, booking in viewings etc) .
  • Conducting viewings .
  • Processing tenant applications (credit check for professionals etc) .
  • Completing all the relevant paperwork including Guarantor Details - this involves quite  lot of paperwork.
  • Checking in/Moving in of tenant/s .
  • Dealing with the maintenance on properties.


Hours:              Mon - Fri 10am - 6.30pm and Saturdays 11am - 4pm.  Due to the seasonal timings for most of our tenant groups (students) we are very busy between October - Feb each year. Therefore working during these Saturdays will be highly likely. During the summer periods it will be less but one or two Saturdays a month will be required.


Salary:              £20,000 per year basic (to be reviewed after 6 months).  6 month probationary period after which a permanent contract will be offered depending upon performance.
