STUDENT LETTINGS ADMINISTRATOR – PERMANENT – SOUTH MANCHESTER

 

 

Our Client, a family run, independent landlord and lettings company based in South Manchester are looking for an Student Lettings Administrator to join their team.

 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft office, including Excel.
  • Knowledge of CFP Software, this is preferred. Property software knowledge is essential.
  • Must have at least 1-2 years’ experience of working in a Student / Residential Lettings Agency.
  • A team player.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task
  • Self-motivation with a 'can do’ attitude.
  • Smart in appearance and a confident manner
  • Pro-active and personable individual, with good attention to detail
  • Valid driving licence.

 

JOB SCOPE:

The Student Lettings Administrator will be responsible for providing an effective and efficient support service to the team, ensuring the smooth running of a busy department. The role involves working closely with the Lettings/Maintenance Team.

 

Duties include:

  • Manage Staff Holidays and Absences on a spreadsheet
  • General administration duties
  • Inputting data into databases quickly and accurately - including updating our Samsung Exchange address book
  • Front of House office duties such as call handling and meeting and greeting visitors and tenants.
  • Provide support for the team
  • Updating window displays and adverts
  • Deal with telephone enquiries
  • Manage the directors’ diaries
  • Dealing with complaints
  • Planning the staff Rota
  • Booking appointments
  • Matching suitable tenants to properties
  • Ensuring that all instructions are presented to the highest standard to prospective tenants
  • Updating and maintaining our software and website together

 

Hours:              Mon - Fri 10am - 6.30pm and some Saturdays 11am - 4pm (on a rota basis).

       

Salary:               £17,000 - £20,000 per year

                       Company pension
