SUBSEA SYSTEM / FIELD ARCHITECTURE ENGINEER – PERMANENT – SURREY
 
Our Client, a Major international Oil and Gas, design and construction contractor is urgently seeking a Subsea System / Field Architecture Engineer. 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working within the Subsea and Pipelines Front End Engineering Department, the Subsea System / Field Architecture Engineer will be involved in the development of front-end engineering activities spanning from Concept Select to Basic Engineering/FEED and starting from the tendering phase.
 
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: 
Degree Qualified, Bachelor/Master
System oriented mindset with good communication and teamwork skills.  
Past involvement in the execution of front-end engineering studies, strong knowledge of different subsea architectures/production systems and full understanding of the inter-relations between the different engineering disciplines, deep understanding of technical/economic drivers leading to subsea architectures selection including operability, flexibility, reliability and installation and project execution aspects.
Knowledge of SPS and SURF.
Experience in concept select processes, with focus on fully integrated subsea field development optimization (technical, economic and schedule) supported by a solid basic knowledge of all essential subsea field building blocks and interfaces.
Office based so previous office experience is required.
 
JOB SCOPE:
Main duties/responsibilities of the job position include:
Contribute to tender preparation and development of fit-for-purpose competitive proposals.
Participate in the execution of front end engineering activities, typically including screening and comparative analysis of alternative subsea architecture solutions, technical definition of main building blocks (SPS and SURF elements), preparation of field schematics, layouts, MEL, etc. 
Contribute to know-how development/retention, including development of discipline tools/procedures and transfer of lessons learnt.
Attend meetings with Client (e.g. design reviews, presentation of study results, etc.).
 
SALARY: Negotiable. Please quote what salary you would be looking for when applying. Contract is considered.
 
BENEFITS: Very Close to the Station and some parking available.
