WELL DELIVERY TEAM LEAD – CONTRACT – KAZAKHSTAN

 

Our Client, a Major international Oil and Gas contractor, is looking for a Well Delivery Team Leadto work on a project in Kazakhstan.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Project Design / Execution: The Well Delivery Lead – Front-end is responsible for coordinating the maturation of the wells scope through to final Concept Select and pre-FEED endorsement (ODR2) for the integrated offshore Development project in the Caspian Sea (Republic of Kazakhstan). There are approximately 60 wells in total.The successful candidate will be an integral part of the integrated Project Team.
  • The reporting line will be to the Development Manager and the main responsibility will be the coordination to deliver safe, credible, competitive, and affordable front-end Wells development plans, with full integration of the wells scope between disciplines (drilling, logistics, subsurface, surface, HSE, C&P) across the two JV’s asset teams.
  • HSSE: Responsible for integrating HSSE in the design, procedures and execution of well work on wells scope. Actively promote HSSE and Sustainable Development in all activities and ensure compliance with business principles for each JV’s. Ensure the coordination of a successful delivery of a joint field Well Control Contingency Plan, including Relief Well Strategy and Emergency Response Plan. 
  • Well Delivery Plan / Assurance: Accountable for the deliverables of the Wells projects controls assurance plan. Responsible for the application of appropriate standards and for ensuring timely endorsement of the proposed conceptual Wells plans by the relevant Technical Authority / Stakeholders (Authority / JV Partners) following each respective JV’s Wells discipline assurance framework.

 

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • A relevant engineering degree.
  • Minimum 10 years of wells design, operations, logistics, and maintenance experience (individuals with knowledge of drilling offshore in the Caspian Sea is considered an asset).
  • Should have International project experience at concept selection, pre-project phases, FEED, execution.
  • Number of rigs/work units: 2.
  • Well Environment: Shallow water/onshore
  • High regulatory requirements: Yes
  • Leader of teams (1st level supervisor)
  • H2S: No / High Pressure, High Temperature: No / Directional work: Yes / Sand control: Yes / Artificial Lift: Yes (GL) / JV exposure: Yes.
  • Well-developed written and spoken English language skills

  • Specify Well Control Equipment and Execute Well Control Operations

  • Capability for multi-disciplinary integration
  • Front–end Development Planning
  • IWCF : Preferred

 

 

Residential:       Working 5 days per week

 

Rate:               USD 500 per day worked net of any Rok Tax.

 

Benefits:           Client pays mobilization/demobilization and flights, insurance and medical insurance/medical evacuation, Accommodation, transport.
