CONTRACT MANAGER – SAUDI ARABIA – DIRECT HIRE CONTRACT
Our Client, a primary and well recognized EPC Company, is seeking a Contract Manager to join their team working in Saudi Arabia on a rotational basis on a pipeline and gas compressor station construction project.
QUALIFICATION /EXPERIENCE
-
Degree in either engineering discipline or Law.
-
8/10-year experience in a similar role in multinational and EPC business context.

Strong pipeline project experience.
-
Excellent communication, leadership, and management attitudes.
-
Good writing skills.
-
Proficient in English - both speaking and writing.
RESPONSIBILITIES

To assist the PD/PM and the other members of the Project team in handling the contractually relevant matters;

To transfer contractual documents and information to the Project team as appropriate;

To arrange in advance the contract management tools, such as: Contract diagram, the list of notices and communications under the Contract, guarantees deadlines calendar etc.;

To arrange and identify the contractual provisions which must be transferred to subcontractors in assisting the Procurement team, with the aim at finalizing the relevant contracts;

To participate in the negotiation and finalization of contract amendments, supported by the PD/PM/Legal Team as required;

To keep record of the cases when Client and partners and subcontractors do not fulfil their contractual obligations, assess the consequences thereof in relation to cost and time;

To identify, with the support of the members of the Project team, the delays and disruptions attributable to Client’s or partners’ or subcontractors’ responsibilities or to “force majeure” and duly notify the same;

To identify and prepare the change order requests and the claims, and timely issue such requests to the Client along with the required documentation;

To participate in the negotiation of the change orders and claims;

To keep record of the status of change orders and claims;

To support in the management of the invoices issued to the Clients and/or Partners.

To prepare the documents necessary to ensure that confidentiality obligations;

To inform promptly Legal team when disputes with Clients and partners are likely to result in litigation proceedings;

To support Legal team in the management of litigation proceeding;
Rate: Please quote what Net monthly rate in US$ you would be looking for
Duration: 12 months renewable contract – Project due to last 4 years
Rotation: 90 days on / 21 days off. Working 8 hours per day, 6 days per week
Start: ASAP
