Our client is an established independent mechanical, electrical and public health building engineering services consultancy, delivering a professional and committed service within the public and private sector in the UK and abroad. Projects include: commercial office developments; industrial and production facilities; warehouse and distribution centres; education- schools and universities; healthcare and sheltered housing; residential and urban regeneration; retail, retail parks and shopping centres; aviation/airline – training and support facilities; hotels and conference facilities; sports and leisure centres; custodial – prisons and detention centres; telecommunications, internet and data centres.
Employed as a Senior Public Health Design Engineer you will report into an Associate Director and be required to lead the Public Health design elements of complex or highly technical building services projects. Working within a team you be tasked with undertaking a range of duties to include:
Development of conceptual design solutions to design intent,
Production of specifications inline with client brief,
Carry out detailed design of public health systems,
Technical and quality reviews of project information,
Represent the business at external functions,
Assist in the preparation of fee submissions and project bids,
Conduct oneself professionally at all times and in a responsible manner,
Reviewing technical competency of public health work,
Design, supervision and technical reviewing of allocated projects
Provide specialist technical advice and guidance at project and group level
Person:
Our client is looking to employ the services of a Professional Public Health Design Engineer who is competent in every aspect of the design process. To be considered you will be technically capable to undertake the design of the following scope of services: Mains water supplies, hot & cold water services, above ground sanitation, foul & surface water below ground drainage, fire protection services, & hot and cold water systems. You will also possess strong communication skills and will ideally be experienced in the use of Hevacomp.
Contract Rate: Negotiable so please quote us what you would be looking for.
