 Our Client, Major Oil and Gas design and construction contractor is seeking a SP Intools\Cabsys Administrator for their office in Middlesex.

 QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

 The candidate must have Control Systems Engineering and/or Engineering IT background with Five to eight years or more of progressive applicable experience of supporting Projects.

 Degree qualified in Engineering or IT related Discipline. Alternatively, sufficient relevant experience in support of relevant computer systems may replace academic qualifications.

 Essential Skills:

Smartplant Instrumentation/InTools

• Very Good understanding of setting-up and supporting SmartPlant Instrumentation projects.
• Good understanding and experience of Instrumentation Design and associated work practices.
• Good understanding of SmartPlant Instrumentation customisation of Reports.

·         Must be familiar with (SPI-INtools) modules: Instrument Index, Brower, Instrument Spec, Process Data, Wiring, Loop Diagram & Hook-ups.

·         Experience of setting up SPI-INtools on a project and administering it during the life of the project.

·         Must be familiar with generation of data sheet templates, report templates and drawing templates, and the import and export of data to external databases.

 Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of other SmartPlant suite of applications that interfaces with SmartPlant instrumentation would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of setting-up and supporting Cabsys projects for both Electrical and instrumentation disciplines.
• Good understanding of the Cabsys administration module including new project creation, report customization.
• Familiarity with deploying and supporting applications over Terminal Service/Citrix technology. 

 Training would be provided in Cabsys for the right candidate if this skill set is deficient.

 JOB SCOPE:

 The candidate will be part of a core Technical Support group supporting multiple projects across the globe, interfacing with various Engineering Teams on the Projects to Support, Train and Implement CAD/Engineering Systems to Corporate Procedures and Standards.

The primary focus will be the management, delivery and technical support of Control Systems Engineering Tools with particular emphasis on SmartPlant Instrumentation and Cabsys.

 Salary: Circa £45,000 per annum plus large company benefits
