Our Client, Major Civil/Building design and construction contractor is seeking a Field Civil Engineer - Structural for their project in Saudi Arabia.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
College/University Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 10 years construction experience. Must have experience in reinforced concrete construction related to heavy industrial/civil structures and ancillary buildings. Experience related to construction of roads, bridges, structural steel buildings and industrial projects would be an advantage. Should have a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and EXCEL.
JOB SCOPE:
Monitor contractor Quality Control Program. Maintain project safety awareness and enforce company safety policy. Facilitate coordination of contractor's work with third parties. Review and respond to contractors technical queries and coordinate with Engineering Department on technical issues. Supervise quantity take-offs. Review contractor’s monthly invoices. Review O&M manuals. Monitor as-builts. Prepare daily reports on each contractor. Evaluate construction material testing results. Provide technical support to the preparation of Field Change Requests and Change Orders. Participate in construction progress meetings. Participate in final inspection and prepare punch lists. Review engineering design packages for constructability issues and lessons learned.
