SENIOR CIVIL/STRUCTURAL TECHNICIAN - PERMANENT - SCOTLAND

 Our Client is a growing multi-disciplinary practice of Chartered civil, Structural and Environmental Engineers who have regional offices located throughout the UK, employing highly experienced, motivated engineers and technicians, providing expert technical advice across a broad spectrum of engineering disciplines.

 They provide extensive experience throughout each stage of the development process, offering advice to landowners, commercial developers, property funds, contractors, house builders, educational establishments, hotel/leisure operators and health authorities, delivering a commercially focused service.

 QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

Expected to be educated to at least HND standard, able to work with minimum supervision using their own initiative and with at least 6 years experience, this position offers excellent career prospects.

The main duties involve producing drawings suitable for submission to Local Authorities and statutory bodies, attending site meetings, supporting other team members by carrying out general duties such as printing and helping to develop the skills and knowledge of junior staff. 

Must have Civil and Structural engineering experience including roads, and drainage design using Autocad. 

It would be an advantage to have knowledge of PDS and WinDES.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with good numerical, interpersonal and time management skills.

 For this position there will be occasional travel to another Scottish office.
