The Access Technology Research Dept. is to conduct advanced access technologies research in various broadband access technology areas, such as xPON, xDSL, FTTx and so on. It leads industry adoption of the advanced broadband access technologies by actively participating in standards and forums, and provides guidance to product strategies. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
1.Master’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent with over 10 years experience in Tele communications. International telecom company’s experience will be consider in priority, and experience in world-class top 3 telecom vender and operator is in highest priority, especially working in Research teams
2. Extensive knowledge of such optical access technologies as GPON, 10G GPON, WDM-PON, LR-PON, OLS, etc.
3. Profound comprehension of current optical access network architecture and candidate future optical access network architectures under researching in industry and academia.
4. Over 2 years experience in access network/system architecture design or system engineer. As a technical leader or main participator, taking part in at least one large or middle scale research project is desired.
JOB SCOPE:
As the technical director you will be providing innovative, competent future optical access network architecture/system; You will identifying key technologies around the architecture/system and initiating projects to research.
Leading the study in relevant projects you will bring extra innovation in access network domain, e.g. GPON enhancement, 10G GPON, WDM-PON, Hybrid PON, LR-PON, OLS, OCDMA, OOFDM, ODN, etc. Finding and breaking through the key, making proposal for the future product development in papers.
Salary:
£70,000 to £100, 000 per annum negotiable
