They are seeking a Communications Engineer to work on a petrochemical project.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Must have recent experience of the job scope below within the Oil/Gas or Petrochemical industry.
Must have a degree in an appropriate engineering discipline.
Should preferably have previous experience of working on major pipeline design projects.
Must have design experience as will need to review the design submitted by the contractors.
JOB SCOPE:
The Telecoms Engineer will be responsible for the review and approval of the EPC Contractor’s designs for the telecommunication system as required by the EPC Contract. They shall also perform audits, surveillance and inspection of all telecoms activities to verify compliance with the requirements and to ensure that materials and equipment are in accordance with the specifications. They will also attend at factory acceptance tests for the Telecommunication system as requested in the specifications and the EPC contract.
The Telecoms Engineer will continue to provide engineering and supervisory services throughout the construction period by joining into the construction supervising team and shall be responsible for overseeing the Telecom activities undertaken by the EPC contractor during the construction period.
Project phase: basic design review / detail design review / PMC contract. Client’s role in this project is expected to be proactive. This gas pipeline project is located in North East China. First main task design verification.
Salary: Competitive and tax free and will get paid whilst on leave as well as when on rotation, please quote us what you would be looking for. Accommodation provided
Rotation: 8 weeks on / 2 weeks off + 2 travel days for each R&R. Working week 6 days at 10 hours, Sundays off.
