HVAC ENGINEER - DIRECT HIRE CONTRACT - CHINA

 Our client’s Business areas include Oil & Gas; Production facilities, Pipeline systems, Storage facilities, LNG & terminals. Energy; Thermal power & seawater desalination, Biomass, Energy transport and distribution, Control and automation. Water and environment; Water supply, Wastewater, Waste, Hydropower. Civil engineering; Traffic and transport, Tunnels and caverns, Building & Structures, Telecommunications, Alpine engineering. They are seeking an HVAC Engineer to work on a petrochemical project.

 QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

 Must have recent design experience of the job scope below.

Must have a degree in an appropriate engineering discipline.

Should preferably have previous experience of working on major pipeline design projects.

 JOB SCOPE:

 The HVAC Engineer will be responsible for reviewing all engineering design documents for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning for the new Main Control Centre prepared by EPC Contractors and for ensuring compliance with tender specifications and requirements.  Shall oversee all EPC Contractors activities related to HVAC to ensure that the work performed is in compliance with the specifications.

 The HVAC Engineer will also perform audits, surveillance and inspections of related activities to verify compliance with the requirements and to ensure that materials and equipment are in accordance with the specifications. Will attend factory acceptance tests for HVAC equipment if requested in the specification and EPC contract.

 Project phase: basic design review / detail design review / PMC contract.  Client’s role in this project is expected to be proactive.  This gas pipeline project is located in North East China.  First main task design verification.

 Salary: Competitive and tax free and will get paid whilst on leave as well as when on rotation, please quote us what you would be looking for.  Accommodation provided

 Rotation:  8 weeks on / 2 weeks off + 2 travel days for each R&R.  Working week 6 days at 10 hours, Sundays off.
