My client, an International giant in the field telecom solutions and delivery, are looking for innovators and visionaries to help develop the next generation of carrier and network delivery.
Currently we are looking for a contractor with experience within R&D of Converged database design.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Qualifications required for this role
More than 2-3 years experience in Telecom Network Database Convergence , development or research
More than three years experience in research work. It would be desirable that the applicant should have operated as a technical leader or main participant, in at least one large or middle scale research project
Preferred skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Excellent interpersonal skills as well as a team player
Familiarity with research methodologies, system requirement analysis, and architecture design, extensive understanding of mature architecture models in industry
JOB SCOPE:
The consultant will be leading the research into relevant projects within Telecom Network Database Convergence
The role is based around key abilities to research and cooperate within industry (e.g. operators, commercial and non-commercial research institutes and vendors) to ensure my client is at the leading edge of new developments. This contact work may be through workshops, face to face meeting and online collaboration.
You will be responsible in finding and breaking out new key technologies (whether by demonstration through research papers, or perhaps prototypes) and would include proposals for the products future development.
Further, part of the brief includes the possibility of bringing such innovation to the appropriate technical standard and perhaps action to make a leading standard and to develop and apply for the necessary patents.
Rate : Negotiable
Duration : 3 months with options to extend indefinitely
