Our Client, Major Civil/Building design and construction contractor is seeking a Contract Supervisor for their project in Saudi Arabia.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Special requirements: Civil/Structural discipline. College/University degree required with 7-10 years experience as a Field engineer. Experience should relate to the construction of major buildings, schools, hospitals, community centers, experience in reinforced concrete & structural steel construction, site preparation and development, installation of underground utilities. Assist in reviewing contractor’s submittals, technical queries, method statement and quality control program. Some experience on mechanical and electrical installations associated with building work would be advantageous. A basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is important.
JOB SCOPE:
Serve as full time Contract Supervisor for one or more construction contracts as assigned by the Facility Contracts Supervisor. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Acts as the Royal Commission's primary contact with the contractor. Provide day to day interface with the contractor. Assure compliance with quality requirement, technical specifications and drawings. Monitor progress and schedule. Ensure compliance with safety and health program. Attend or chair meetings with the contractor. Provide interface coordination among the contractors and various Royal Commission departments. Assist in coordinating the review of contractor's technical as well as material and supplier approval submittals.
