Our Client is a market leader in providing specialist software, outsourcing and information technology (IT) services to the human resources, local government, education and public safety markets. They are currently seeking a Recruitment Consultant / Specialist for their office in Peterborough
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
· Previous recruitment management experience preferably with multiple industry clients.
· Knowledge of relevant recruitment related employment law and ‘Right to Work in the UK’ Documentation
· Previous experience of conducting interviews, running assessment centres and using a variety of recruitment methods available including psychometric testing
· Client management skills/experience at all levels
Must have in house and market experience

JOB SCOPE:
Key Purpose:
· To provide a full – cycle, professional recruitment service to a range of Clients.
· To work as part of the Recruitment Team to deliver an effective, compliant, professional and consistent service for the company.
· To assist and work with key contacts in the delivery of specific projects on behalf of clients.
· To support Recruitment administrators with client queries as appropriate.
Supplementary:
· To perform all duties in accordance with the company Health & Safety, Quality and Data Protection policy procedures.
· There may be additional activities to perform from time to time in order to maximise the contribution to Company HR’s goals and objectives.
Main Areas of Activity:
Manages the day to day Recruitment activities of a range of clients
· Prioritises work effectively taking into account the needs of a range of clients and external deadlines. Project manages the recruitment process. Provides and presents information, data and feedback on activity for the preparation of regular reviews and reporting against agreed SLA’s
· Responds to client issues within agreed timescales, manages client expectations through effective communication. Ownership of the requirement from definition through to fulfilment, including ‘managing’ the hiring manager during the process
· Provides advice and guidance based on Recruitment best practice, market conditions, best candidates and generally facilitating the recruitment process by working with the hiring manager.
· Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing using the most appropriate media dependant on circumstances.
· Recommends both reactive and proactive solutions to client issues with support from team.
· Utilises appropriate IT systems.
To coordinate all recruitment activity performed on behalf of clients
· Hands-on delivery of recruitment services including:
1. establishing compliant recruitment methods including direct, internal, referral and PSL
2. developing recruitment campaigns
3. specifying vacancies & writing advertisements for media and job boards and maintaining them on a regular basis
4. Managing, co-ordinating and facilitating assessment days
5. supplier management,
6. organising and running careers fairs,
7. Reviewing and screening applications, organising and conducting interviews and recommending candidates to clients.
8. Conducting structured/competency based interviews (telephone and face to face) on an as needs basis
9. Provide feedback to applicants, hiring managers and agencies alike
10. Liaise with hiring managers to take job briefing and agree recruitment strategy and timetable on a resourcing plan
11. Use and maintain recruitment software to ensure that all data is accurate and up to date
· Continuously seek opportunities to improve the service provided to clients through process improvement and new services
· Create links with recruitment agencies, continuously develop knowledge of recruitment techniques and market.
Undertake ad hoc projects
· Implements/carries out activities within general scope of the project and within accepted Project Management methods as directed.
Provides Customer Service
· Develops relationships with customers by listening and responding to needs and requirements. Proactively leads implementation of best in breed Recruitment service.
· Manages Customer expectations by agreeing realistic deadlines and schedules for completion of work.
· Meets deadlines as specified in Client SLA’s.
· Considers new ideas to add value to the customer without incurring unnecessary extra cost to the Company’s HR, thereby potentially generating additional income.
· Ensure processes, procedures and documentation are logged, updates and maintained in a standardised format.
Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum
