JOB SCOPE
General Information
Role Seniority
Senior – Responsible for developing, safeguarding, and sharing key technical/professional knowledge within the Group, as well as investigating and solving problems using a technical approach to add value to field operations.
Job Purpose
To provide specialist support for commissioning and start-up activities for new upstream, midstream, and downstream facilities and new renewable plants, ensuring that commissioning activities within the specific area of responsibility are carried out safely, efficiently and to the satisfaction of all parties.
Reports to: Commissioning Coordinator / Superintendent
Subordinates: Commissioning Supervisor
Role Definition
Main Responsibilities
-
Provide specialist support for all subsea commissioning activities, ensuring they are performed in accordance with the commissioning plan and interacting with other disciplines.

Lead, supervise and support contractors’ activities, ensuring they are carried out in compliance with HSE requirements, company standards, and technical guidelines.

Organise and supervise commissioning work and testing from a technical perspective, ensuring compliance with project specifications, QA/QC procedures, and other applicable requirements.

Troubleshoot using a logical and systematic approach, identifying the cause of issues, and implementing appropriate solutions.
Key Activities
-
Provide technical support and lead commissioning activities carried out by contractors, ensuring the scope of work is achieved in accordance with contract requirements, timeframes, specifications, and applicable standards.

Provide specialist guidance to commissioning and construction personnel to resolve punch list activities.
-
Promptly interact with and provide technical support to the Commissioning Superintendent regarding technical areas of concern.

Review contractors’ technical documentation, including technical reports, specifications, procedures, drawings, P&IDs, and engineering procedures for power generation and distribution systems.

Organise and lead commissioning activities related to functional testing, including umbilical electrical and communication tests, subsea control system communication, equipment, and manifold valve functional tests, SPS control system C&E tests, subsea flowlines, jumpers and risers leak tests, and hydraulic and chemical line leak tests.

Ensure the correctness and quality of subsea check sheets and acceptance of subsea system operational tests.

Facilitate the interface with Operations and Production during the handover process.
Salary: 700 USD Per Day
Start: January 2027
Duration: 1.5 years + Offshore relocation (to be discussed at later stage)
Work Pattern: Resident, 5 days per week (5/2)
Working Hour: 10 Hours/Day
