POWER SYSTEM STUDIES ENGINEER - CONTRACT – SURREY
Our Client is seeking a Power System Studies Engineer to support onshore projects for an initial 12 month contract role that has an immediate start.

EXPERIENCE:

Experience as a Power Systems Studies Engineer within the oil and gas industry, including onshore projects
-
Ideally experience working on Aramco-related projects
-
Working knowledge of ETAP and EMT software (intermediate level)

Delivered power system studies across project lifecycles, including captive power generation (with and without grid connection)

Power System Studies included:

Equipment sizing
-
Load flow analysis
-
Short circuit studies
-
Motor starting and dynamic simulation
-
Harmonic analysis
-
Arc flash studies
-
Transient stability assessments
Responsibilities:
-
Execution of power system studies using industry-standard tools, including EMT software
-
Coordination and oversight of third-party engineering vendors
-
Delivery of study outputs to support engineering design and project decision-making
DURATION: 6-12 months
LOCATION: The role will be based on 4 days a week in our Client’s Offices in Surrey. and one day remote.
RATE: £65.00 per hourLtd co rate
If the role is Likely to be outside of IR35 the final decision will only be made after a QDOS assessment.
BENEFITS Limited Company contract Outside IR35.
