PROJECT HSE MANAGER - CONTRACT – SURREY

Our Client, an offshore oil and gas contractor, is currently looking for a Project HSE Manager to join the team in Surrey.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience: 3+ years as an HSE Manager and 10+ years within HSE activities, with experience working to IOGP standards and as an IMCA contractor. Candidates must have significant Offshore Installation experience from a project planning and execution perspective. Offshore HSE-only experience is not suitable for this position.
  • Education: NEBOSH diploma or equivalent
  • Certification: Preferably Tech IOSH or above as well as ISO 45001 Lead Auditor

 

JOB SCOPE:

Purpose of the position:

As Project HSE Manager you will report to the Client’s QHSE Manager as well as the Project Director. You will ensure correct development, management and improvement of Project HSE Management System throughout the engineering and development phases (EPIC) of the project. You will Plan and coordinate the activities of all HSE personnel working both in design and on sites.

 

Also you will define criteria and references for developing project HSE plans and for undertaking specific studies and global analysis evaluating plant/platform performance in normal operating and upset conditions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure correct development, management and improvement of Project HSE Management System throughout the engineering and development phases (EPIC) of the project according to the Saipem, Company, IOGP and ISO HSE guidelines and standards
  • Act as HSE focal point for the Project and ensure the management of all the HSE issues for the Project
  • Interface with Clients and administer HSE section of the Contract
  • Develop and coordinate the HSE team
  • Provide HSE support and advice to Project Management
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations and UK Legislation
  • Interface and support environmental management team
  • Lead accident / incident investigation
  • Establish and implement HSE monitoring and audit program
  • Lead Risk Management process (i.e. HAZOP, HAZID, Hazard and Effect Management Process, Risk Assessment, etc.)
  • Subcontractor HSE Management
  • Promote periodical Project HSE Review and ensure proper Project HSE Close out report

 

RATE:                         Please quote what limited company hourly rate you would be looking for.

 

DURATION:                 Start ASAP.  12 month contract

 

WORK PATTERN:       Hybrid working of 3 days in the office and 2 days working at home.

 

BENEFITS:                   Limited Company contract Outside IR35.
